For me, the high temperature today is expected to be -1 degree Fahrenheit. It's been a really cold winter in my part of the US (polar vortex - I'm looking at you) and I'm tired of it. And I have it relatively easy - my pets and I have a roof over our heads, heat, warm clothes and enough food to eat. Many other people and animals are having a much harder time.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. If you're feeling love in your heart, share it by doing something nice for someone. It can be yourself, someone you care about, a stranger, or some of the many animals waiting at a rescue or shelter and hoping for a forever home.
If you're not feeling love, but you love chocolate, go get yourself some holiday chocolate and enjoy it all by yourself!
